101 in 1001

After seeing Zoot’s and Ashley’s lists, I knew I wanted to do the “101 Things in 1001 Days” project myself. Here are the project guidelines:

The Mission: Complete 101 preset tasks in a period of 1001 days.
The Criteria: Tasks must be specific (i.e. no ambiguity in the wording) with a result that is either measurable, or clearly defined. Tasks must also be realistic and stretching (i.e. represent some amount of effort on your part.)

Start date: June 27, 2009
End date: March 24, 2012 (shortly after my 32nd birthday… wow!)
I’ve posted my list below and will keep coming back to update…

Sports and Exercise:
1. Run a 10-miler. (Army Ten Miler, 10/4/09)
2. Run a half-marathon. (5/9/10)
3. Run an 8:30 mile. (2/17/10)
4. Try a bikram yoga class. (11/18/11)
5. Make it to the top of the tall rockclimbing wall.
6. Learn to play golf.
7. Go snowboarding.
8. Do a pull-up, unassisted.

Health and Wellness:
9. Do yoga 3X/week for a month. (May 2011)
10. Floss every day for a month. (8/14/09)

29. Create a “cast of characters” page. (I did this, then took it down because I decided I didn’t like it. But it was still done!)

Organization:
31. Move photos from old computer to new one. (Apparently, Adam did this without my knowing, but I’m counting it!)
32. Organize digital photos on computer.
33. Make back-up digital copies of photos.
